On art, architecture and design

Posted by Carren Jao Pineda |

I've been traveling the world for about a month now. That might seem glamorous on the first read, but behind that great line is a lot of unfamiliar hotel rooms, forcibly changed habits and missing comforts. Of course, they also include some great once-in-a-lifetime experiences (which I'll be writing about soon enough).

But, as T.S. Eliot once said, "We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." It's good to be back to familiar stomping grounds and to discover what's changed since I've been gone. It's good to be home again.
