Cheap this Fri: First Fridays at NHM

Posted by Carren Jao Pineda |

Get a chance to rock the night away among fossils with the Natural History Museum's First Fridays. This January, NHM explores the latest in genetics, neuroscience, evolution, biomimicry, paleontology and biology with "The Nostradamus Edition."

KCRW DJ's Anthony Valadez and Garth Trinidad whet your musical appetite by the African Mammal Hall while author Jonah Lehrer (Proust Was A Neuroscientist, How We Decide) take visitors into an exploration of the science of creativity. After your mind is primed, set your body swaying to the electro-synth pop music of Swedish quartet Little Dragons and Sister Crayon. If you're still fighting New Year's inertia and can't make it, view First Fridays online.
