Pay What You Wish: Coward's Blithe Spirit

Posted by Carren Jao Pineda |

The strapped for cash now have no excuse to miss A Noise Within's production of Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit." A Noise Within, a classical repertory theater, decrees a "pay what you can" day on Thursday, October 7.

Famously written in 1941 over the course of just five days, "Blithe Spirit" sets the classic "he said, she said" scenario on an otherworldly plane when novelist Charles Condomine finds his deceased first wife, Elvira, back in his life when he invites a local medium over for a seance. To make matters worse (or better for the audience), his second wife, Ruth, can't even see or hear the ghost, creating a comedy of errors of phantasmic proportions.

Here more about the show from Director Damaso Rodriguez:

Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis based on availability. Limit two per person. Tickets must be bought in person at the box office (234 South Brand Boulevard) after 2 pm on the day of the performance with cash only. ($10 minimum suggested).
