Free this weekend: An Affaire to Remember

Posted by Carren Jao Pineda |

Beverly Hills knows what makes a good weekend--art, wine and a lot of relaxing.

This weekend is the biannual (that's twice a year, folks) Affaire in the Gardens Art Show, which can be found along the four blocks of Beverly Gardens Park. Around 250 artist using different media will be represented. What's more fascinating is that ten artists will be there to showcase their process for the general public, including large-scale portrait production using stone, cardboard, even metal screws. Other demonstrations include jewelry smithing.

If all that art-making isn't what you fancy, you can wander off to the dining quarter where fine ale and wine are available along with live jazz and Latin sounds.

Oct 16-17, 10 am- 5 pm
from Rodeo to Rexford along Santa Monica
