Juiced for the Hip Hop Dance Festival

Posted by Carren Jao Pineda |

Hip hop gets a bad wrap with expletives and ear-splitting jams. It's a bad influence parents are happy to get their kids away from. Fortunately, all that is just nonsense.

Justice by Uniting in Creative Energy (J.U.i.C.E), a project of Community Partners, has been breaking, legally grafitti-ing, deejaying and emceeing around town for positive change, teaching underserved kids self-confidence through self-expression.

This October 2, J.U.i.C.E presents the 3rd annual Hip Hop Festival at Ford Ampitheatre. LA's top choregraphers--Amy "Catfox" Campion, Jacok "Kuho" Lyongs, Emiko Sugiyama and others--will be out in fine form, spinning, twisting, popping and locking, moving to the rhythm of the beat.

Buy your tickets by September 25 and get 20% off. Ready for a good time? Me too.
