On art, architecture and design

Wondering what to do tomorrow without breaking the bank? Here's three ideas:

  • Eco-warriors unite at LA's largest outdoor green festival, Venice Eco-Fest 2010. Music will ring all day, while veggie options abound at their food court. A One Planet Parade will also be in the works at noon stretching from Rose Avenue to Windward
  • Feel the California rhythm at Getty's "Saturdays off the 405." Dawes, a folk rock rookie, combines twangy melodies with a ripping lead guitar. Then, hie off to the great beyond of Getty's galleries with 20-minute "Spotlight After Dark" tours led by Getty Museum educators.

  • Artist Natalia Fabia serves up her third solo show inspired by all things Kawaii with a dash of Western spunk at Corey Helford Gallery
